The Republic is a digital media startup which provides information, media and editorial coverage of African countries.

In my role as art director, I created designs for use across the magazine's various platforms, from social media and the website to the quarterly print magazine - The Republic Journal.

Each magazine cover was inspired by the theme of the issue and was carefully designed not only to be aesthetically pleasing and draw readers in, but also to be symbolic.
